The week in projects
A fairly quiet week of getting caught up in projects and shirking other responsibilities (like cooking!)
I have a habit of nearing the finish line on a project and then abandoning it at the 99% done mark. I sat down and did the last hour of work on this basket which has been sitting around for over a year.
The bee costume has made its way out into the world this week. The wings attach to the baby’s wrists and it’s very cute when he flaps his bee wings!
Friend and reader, Natalie, returned from Japan and brought me these paints from Pigment. Couldn’t think of a better gift for car-sitting!
Baby hat from the Purl Soho knit-along complete! Now to make the lilac adult version for myself. This is the type of knitting project that can derail all other projects and responsibilities for me. It’s quick enough that I can see the finish line from the beginning, but long enough that I skipped out on some other things I would normally do in a week in order to finish. My husband did most of the cooking this week because I was too busy knitting to care!
A friendly reminder that I still have hats in stock!
I’m still in the basket biz! Check out weareclosedonmondays.com for all of my handmade baskets.
That’s all folks! See you next Sunday.

Sounds familiar, I have so many projects that are *almost* done and then abandoned! The grey basket is beautiful, I love it (purples & greys are my favorite colors). And the bee costume is adorable, I wish I had a little kiddo all over again (rather than being on the verge of becoming an empty-nester).
